James2 Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 From the Revell Five Window, with parts from their 37 Ford PU and Parts Box. I used Gray primer, Silver, Red primer and Tamiya Dark Yellow for color. Then some real rust and dry brushing. Lots of fun, Will do another Ratty.
Dr. Cranky Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Woo-hoo! Doctor Cranky's doing the Curly on the floor. This one is fabulous. What a great little Rat! Congratulations and that engine looks great too.
Draggon Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 I like this a lot! Didnt you have it on ebay? I think I bid on it but lost.....anyway, great job!
Bernard Kron Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 i'm not into rat rods at all, but when i saw who built it i had to come in for a look nice to see the AMT '41 Woody's unique fuel injection used on something and i think it looks really cool here. i also really like how the exhaust is running down the bottom edge of the body Likewise. Nicely done, full of super details. I agree on the motor and the exhaust pipe idea is definitely worth stealing!
James2 Posted February 20, 2011 Author Posted February 20, 2011 Well steel away, no better flattery than to have an idea stolen. Thanks, and yes it was on the bay. Didn't get what I hoped, but ya never do.
RodneyBad Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Awesome looking RatRod. If I knew it was on Ebay, I would've tried to get it myself.. Excellent work!!
outlaw035 Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 very "KQQL" rat rod...luv the chain across the front frame rails...
