old-hermit Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 Thanks Foxer, I had fun building it. Where is the engine from? IS THE SLANT SIX OUT OF ANOTHER BIG SCALE LINBERG KIT? A friend of mine mastered the slant six and gave me a resin copy. He does not produce them for sale.
Chuck Most Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 Thanks Foxer, I had fun building it. A friend of mine mastered the slant six and gave me a resin copy. He does not produce them for sale. I need to become friends with this friend of yours... a 1:8 Slant Sixer might just give me that final bump I need to get into big scale.
old-hermit Posted March 4, 2011 Author Posted March 4, 2011 a 1:8 Slant Sixer might just give me that final bump I need to get into big scale. How 'bout a Mumford/Ardun head on a 4 banger ?????
Foxer Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 How 'bout a Mumford/Ardun head on a 4 banger ????? You really know how to make people wet your thread ...
old-hermit Posted March 4, 2011 Author Posted March 4, 2011 You really know how to make people wet your thread ... LOL, my mom always said I was a little different !!!!! Heres some pics of the rest of the car the 4 banger is going in Foxer. It will be a late 40's early 50's Bonneville salt flats car when I'm finished. And for top end I made a Columbia two speed rear axle for it.
Chuck Most Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 How 'bout a Mumford/Ardun head on a 4 banger ????? Yeah... that might do it, too. (I will say I bought my first 1:16 scale kit today... )
