Chuck Most Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Just wondering if there'd be any interest in a CRM based build off. I know there were two 'Custom Rodder' magazines, I'm refering to the one published by Primedia/Source Interlink and canceled about four years ago. The rules would be simple, the model would be a replica of or based upon a car featured in the mag, or based on a rendering from the Sketchpad articles.
Greg Myers Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 " canceled about four years ago" ? so what do we use as a source ? I don't have any back issues and I really don't remember getting it when it was out.

Greg Pugh Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 That would have the same problem. Not everybody has stacks of old Rod & Custom magazines laying around. I could see this working if it was handled in the same fashion as the Jairus Watson build was. Get everyone to sign up for this and then send them pics of what it is they're supposed to build. I thought that it was kinda neat that they did it that way. Then, you sign up, having no idea of what you're building until they send it to you. I'd be down!

Their web site is still working. For some reason beyond me they have even made a new logo for the now defunct magazine. http://www.customrodder.com

Is Rod & Custom a diff publisher then either Street Rodder, or Custom Rodder was?
