introducing what we believe to be the first resin co-op. we started out jokingly calling ourselves the detroit resin mafia, but as all 4 of our business's have reached a certain point we decided to combine our efforts. we will still be seperate companys but we will be supporting each other to our benefit and more importantly to our customers. expect to see a much greater presence from all of us at shows, and with more and better products. smbc has some of the best diorama products and high quality decals. m.a.d. have the best prewired distrubtors and many other resin parts. both motor city resin casters and missing link resin carry transkits and full resin kits. this is just a temp website, we will be updating all the individual sites as well as the D.R.A.G. site.

stay tuned. this is gonna br fun!

Just want to chime in here myself if I may. I am very excited about this. As Jeff said, we will be working together to better one another and, hopefully the hobby as a whole. One of our goals is to show modelers there are quality casters out there and, let them feel more at ease in ordering. There are still a number of modelers that are gunshy when it comes to ordering resin parts. Many feel that airbubbles and, tons of flash are just something you must deal with when working with resin. We are here to show that is not the case.

Sounds good! I don't know if it's in the plans, but what would be great is to have a new website with an online catalog, complete with all the parts from the different companys and updated as soon as new parts comes out, and a possibility to order parts from different companys all at once :) That would be awesome! And of course, I hope you guys will ship to Canada!

That is the idea Danny. We have been posting jokes and, poking fun but, this is a serious thing. The joking and, poking fun is just something that goes hand in hand with us. The four of us have been pretty tight for a few years now. In both personal (not too personal) and, professional manner. He have always tossed ideas around and, stuf. We have now decided to be more focused about it. We also thought it would be a good idea to let the modeling community know it.

Jeff, does this mean we MIGHT see one of you from the area to visit either a North Carolinia or heaven forbid a Virginia contest/ show ? I'm far more willing to part with my money on something I can see . Sorry but several of the revers I have read revues from have slanted their opinions as to what is an aint, take the Trumiteer 1960 Bonnivile for example ....... Ed Shaver
