Tyrone.... This build is looking awesome. great work on everything. what did you use for the blanket material around the transmission?

Posted (edited)

Thanks for the comments fellas, Chris for the blanket, on the trans, as well as the seat belts, and wheelie bar netting I use medical tape or bandage with an adhesive back side, and to color it I use a sharpie in whatever color I choose. thanks again,

I had to go with a different hood scoop after getting all the fuel lines and stuff done the one I wanted to use would not fit, still not sure on a color yet, thanks for looking and comments welcome, any paint ideas, let me know..

Lookin' good Tyrone, as for a color idea, since we see a lot of blue, red, purple & orange, how about green(different shades) or yellow with red or black stripes?

Thanks for the comments and interest in the build I really appreciate it, I got the nos lines and on off valves done last night for the nos bottles, the valve handles were made from an empty coke can more updates soon as far as the color I'm playing with a few ideas, maybe olympic gold with black stripe across the nose, or mabye an orange pearl but nothing is for sure.. thanks for looking and comments welcome.

The valves came out nice Tyrone. In the process of building (painting, drilling etc.) an engine for my 2nd car (working back & forth on 2 right now,a supercharged Demon & a nitrous Firebird) finishing up on the scratch-building for the Demon's engine & just started on the Firebird engine. Have a question for you if you will, on the transmission, what size wire do you use for the air-shifters?

Thanks for the comments Richard, the wire for the transmission is detail master igniton wire I dont know the number, I may havean old package laying around I'll check. I was able to get the glasses cut out tonight and added some styrene to the rear of the front end to clse the gap from the new hood scoop, here's a few mock up pics, thanks for looking and comments welcome..
