  1. ......WOW! Amazing build....the engine is awesome!
  2. Very Nice....Are those the Hobby Design TE37V's? Also what did you use for the lips / barrels for the wheels?
  3. Well it is definitely my cup of tea....Love It!!! Your work is always amazing. One question...what size are those TE-37s and what did you use for the barrels? I would love to make a set like that. Thanks!
  4. Did you custom build the front lip?
  5. Love the Work Miesters....where did you get the deep dish barrels for them though?
  6. Beautiful.....absolutely amazing. I desperately want those wheels? Please let us know where you got them.
  7. I'm looking to get into diecast and modify them to my liking. My question is...where can we get parts for 1:18 diecast cars such as wheels, racing seats etc. I see plenty on ebay for 1/24 but not much for the 1/18. Is there a good source for upgrading wheels and other parts?
  8. Looking for Sparco and/or Recaro decals for race seats. The white lettering decals. Where can I get these. I've thought of trying to make my own but there is no way to print white lettering that I'm aware of. Any ideas of where I can find these?
  9. I want to spray Tamiya TS-74 Clear Red over a gold base both from the rattle cans as I don't have a airbrush. Is there any tricks to spraying the clear red in order for it to come out nice? Has anyone used this color before?
  10. What did you use here for the fuel rail? It looks like styrene but is it square or hexagon and what size is it?
  11. Love it....is the 2JZ from the Tamiya Supra?
  12. Great...thanks! One more thing...How do you get the black window trim so perfect? I have used sharpie markers and also tried masking and painting as well but the borders don't ever seem to come out as good as yours.
  13. Love it....and I love that stanced out look too Steven, so your not alone! Just wish they made this kit with an engine... Question: What size Pegasus sleeves are those and are they the Pegasus tires (they look like they have a stretch look to them)? Are they the 23" sleeves both front and back? Did the BBS wheels from Model Scientists fit into the sleeves perfect or did you have to add styrene? Love the look!
  14. Very Nice....where did you get the wheels and hood scoop from?
  15. Started the next project, a Revell 99 Silverado Custom kit. Going to cut out the bed and fab up some air bags. Using Pegasus 23" T's wheels. Not sure on what color to go with yet or if I'm going to leave the engine stock or swap it with a Corvette LS motor. Here is what I have done so far. Cut out front wheel wells so front wheels will tuck... Cut frame and made c-notch out of styrene... Sectioned the gas tank so it will sit lower and lay frame. Started cutting bed out, but after this pic was taken I realized I'm going to need to cut out the wheel wells as well in the bed to fit the wider tires. More to come...
  16. Looking for the best resin to use in making a flexible tire that can be stretched from say a 14" to 18" scale size. I know a lot of people make then out of regular hard resin but I need a resin that can stretch. I like the Alumilite products for there standard resin but do they have a good stretchable resin? Like the Flex 40 or Flex 30 even... for example. Anyone with experience in this please chime in.
  17. Just finished a AE86 Drift Car I've been working on. Aoshima AE86 Trueno kit. Added a scratchbuilt front splitter and rollcage as well as a racing seat and lowered it all around. I also custom made the hood....I cut it open and added Styrene and filler to make the air scoop. Switched out the tires for a lower profile stretched look set from Aoshima.
  18. On colored plastic... using Model Master Laquer so I'll just spray Model Master Laquer Clear first.
  19. Love the air cleaner...where did you get that?
  20. Wow...never thought of that, I'll give that a try...thanks!
  21. What is the secret to good crisp window trim? I am trying to do the black window trim on my AE86 project and I can't get it to look right. I have tried a black Sharpie but it doesn't go on Laquer very well. I have also tried brush painting it but there is still some bleeding even if I mask with Tamiya tape. I have seen some really good window trim on this site...so is there a better way?
  22. Anyone know where I can get a set of wheels and tires (like 14"-15") with stretched wall tires for a AE86 build I'm working on. I've seen a lot of them used on this site but can's seem to find them anywhere.
  23. Looks great....love the carbon fibre... how did you make it look so real? Are the just carbon fiber decals covered with clear or ????
