  1. What size does everyone use for Rubber and Braided Fuel and Oil lines. I found a few options and I just want to be as close to accurate as possible. I have .019in and .64mm and .81mm for the Rubber Hose options so far and I need to get the correct braided fuel line for my Pro Sportsman engine I'm working on. For 1/25 scale.
  2. Looking for some pics of the Pro Sportsman Engine builds you have done. I'm currently working on building one of these engines for a new project and I want to add the plumbing for the fuel lines and oil lines but I want to make sure it is accurate. I know these engines have a lot going on and all reference pics I find online are confusing and hard to see how they are plumbed. So if you have added fuel / oil lines to a Pro Sportsman engine.....lets see em...Thanks!
  3. Awesome job. I like the interior stripped detailing. Also the engine looks great. Did you scratchbuild the whole thing including the block or use a block from a different kit?
  4. Thanks! Ya it is the Revell kit.
  5. Got it done. The turbo and intercooler piping was a pain to clear everything. I wanted to do some race seats but I didn't have any on hand and I just wanted to get this one done so I just used the stock seats and kept the interior standard black with a few accents of white. Also stripped the chrome off the wheels and painted them white. Muffler was scratchbuilt from aluminum tubing.
  6. Thanks everyone.....Here are some more progress pics! White Paint Engine Installed With Intercooler Roll Cage Scratchbuilt
  7. Started a new project....Revell Honda Civic Hatchback. I'm going to scratchbuild a turbo manifold and turbo and I'm thinking white as the paint color. I want to go with some race seats instead of the stock seats the kit comes with but don't have any on hand so if anyone knows a good source to pick some up without having to get a whole racing kit just for the seats let me know. Here is the progress so far......... started working on cleaning up the body only going to use half the radiator to make room for the turbo scratchbuilt the turbo manifold completed engine with turbo manifold and scratchbuilt turbo using solder and styrene More to come.........

Looks Great! What tires did you use to get that stretched look?
  9. Love it....very nice engine detail. What wheels and tires are those? Where did you get them?
  10. When working with Styrene rod, what is the best way to bend/form the rod in order to make roll cages/exhaust? I have been using a lighter but I have noticed it produces not only black marks on the rod which needs to be cleaned off but more importantly it produces the burning plastic smell which I can imagine is very toxic to breath in. I have seen several roll cages etc. on this forum that have no black marks from a flame and was wondering if there is a better method to bend styrene rod/tube that I am not aware of?
  11. Looks Great...I agree with Monty about cutting along the door lines. What did you use for the stripe? Is it an automotive pinstripe tape?
  12. Yes...very nice engine work...what is that engine from?
  13. Anyone have any experience or good ideas on how to ship a fully detailed and wired model engine that is very delicate?
  14. Great....thanks!
  15. Looks great! What kit did those seats come from?
  16. Good info....the Bandit kit does look nice. Is the 80 MPC Monte Carlo the best choice to use with it or is there any other options?
  17. I have been wanting to do a 1980 Malibu....does anyone make this kit?
  18. Thanks everyone.....

Nice job! Which kit is that? Is it a curbside?
  20. Very Nice....I'm lovin the stance!
  21. Here is my Revell/Gears entry....overall I am pretty pleased how it turned out. Used Pegasus wheels sleeves and lowered it. Scratchbuilt a roll bar. Wired the engine and added seat belts.
  22. Wow....absolutely amazing job! Paint is awesome.
  23. Ok...thanks! I had a feeling that was the case. I'll check out the Partsbox piece.
  24. Which kits (brand / kit part #'s) have a complete detailed SR20DET engine I can use for another project. With all the curbsides out there it is impossible to find which kits have this engine.
