ALL Done

Speed city resin body kit and stacks.

I made the tail lights as they were molded in the body.

looks awesome.

a wicked AWB replica.

somewhere I have some footage of the Dick Landy AWB '65 Coronet.

I'm going to have to find that film and see if it was running injection, too.

Beautiful build up.

Nice build, the Ramchargers was alway one of the best looking cars out there. My first AWB build was also my first using a resin body & modifing a chassis for it, it was Dick Harrells '67 long-nose Yenko Camaro using the Rat Packer chassis & engine, didn't turn out to bad, when I get around to it I'll be trying to do a replica of Don Schumacher's Stardust '67 Charger.

Thanks !

The kit went together real nice.

The headers are from the Johan 64 Hemi Dodge super stocker. I do think you are right about them being for the Max Wedge but I really like the looks of them.

Oh man! I really dig this one! I am a super Ramchargers fan and you did them proud. Those Johan headers are kind of weird in that they have evenly spaced tubes as they should for Hemi but they don't really line up with the exhaust ports at the proper angle. They fit the wedge head better????

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Wayne, I agree about the headers being odd. It was one of you AWB builds that made me decide on tracking down a set. I really liked the look. I am trying to get another couple of sets cast for future builds. I am not sure how they will fit up on a Max Wedge outside of having to move the them around to match the exhaust ports.

Thanks again!

Nice build Steve, should be a good race!. I have just one question on the Ramchargers build, isn't the height set-up backwards?, most of the AWB cars I've seen (including the Ramchargers picture your showing) has the front-end up & the back-end sitting down. Don't take this wrong, just wondering.

I do think mine is sitting to low in the front.

According to the Ramchargers book there were torsion bar cars and cars with the straight front axle . The torsion bar cars looked to sit lower in the front then the straight axle cars.

Here is a photo from the book with the car sitting still. I think the car was in motion in the photo I used as a back ground as the front end is much higher.

Real nice job on the AWB so that Sox&Martin book is really good like the new book done on Bill Jenkins? That book is hard to get a hold of wanted to get that book but no luck.
