mackinac359
That looks really good. Why the spine on the 377's hood? Tim

M. Scott Borden
That looks really good. Why the spine on the 377's hood? Tim Greetings, Tim! I was just too lazy to remove the spine. You may remember that I used the top of the 377 hood for the 378 to 379-119 conversion. To me, the Italeri 377 actually looks a whole lot better with the top of the Italeri 378 hood because the 378 hood has the subtle curve like the real truck. I trust you'll be in my neighborhood next weekend for the MATS? Edited March 24, 2011 by M. Scott Borden

mackinac359
Ah, right. Unfortunately, I won't be attending MATS this year. Tim Greetings, Tim! I was just too lazy to remove the spine. M. Scott Borden
Thanks, everybody, for your kind words! As for the trailer, I was definitely envisioning a tanker or flatbed behind her, so we are on the same frequency! Cheers, Scott

mackinac359
Since a certain company won't let resin casters make the later year versions of their engines - I think it is fitting to paint their arch enemy a nice shade of yellow.
chaotik
Missing MATS!!! I have been going for 7 years.... All three days.... Was hooked since day one. Does help that my boss owns a Pete show truck that he had at MATS afew years back....I am responsible for keeping it clean in it's garage at our yard..... Can stare at those trucks all weekend long! studioman3
Scott, Fantastic job! If I didn't know any better, I'd say you been building these for quite some time. The colors are real good together and she is really clean. What you need for them outside shots is an asphalt shingle turned upside down with the tabs cut off to make it look like a road. Personally, I vote for the lowboy, but then again, I've built a few of those and am kinda partial to em. I think she'll look great pullin' anything.
