I too have built the Lonestar. Only issue is was getting the cab to sit right. Someone mentioned the un prototypical frames. I have seen an exact 1/1 Lonestar as the model at an IH dealer. How did you go about stretching the hood!?

The yellow one is an old IH Loadstar. Didn't look like that when it was new. It wasn't offered as a kit. Maybe one of these resin Guru's can help you out if you are in the market. The Pete, like was stated earlier, you can pick up at most hobby stores Gonna have to do some fabricating to make it look like the picture

I built that truck years ago when I was 12. If I'm not to eat up with CRS, I believe it is made to where the single stack version can be made. Little sanding and filling is all you need to do. Have never tried decals, and as far as colors, hopefully soe of those here who have been around trucking since its heyday can help you out!!

If I weren't deployed, I could get you all the pics you want! My Dad works for a concrete plant. He has no internet, nor a computer, or I'd ask him to send me some pics.

While this thread IS up, why did Peterbilt put the intake through the cab, instead of behind it?

The 359 pictured with the trailer says 225, because it came with the trailer, and it was still the little window. I bought this kit in Germany, to build for my daughter. Its all molded in white, minus the tires, and glass, obviously. Wish I would have got the wrecker, and the K100. I hope this helped!

That is AWESOME Sergey!!! Noticed though, the air horn lanyard on your truck is by the door frame. Remember in the movie, Pig Pen's was on his left side towards the middle of the cab.

The Revell Pete You are wanting has round headlights, and a Cummins, AND a 63" sleeper

Awesome! There's a flaw though. Just saying if you didn't know, The Limousine is in accurate. It's calling it a Super Beetle, showing a '67, and saying it has a 1500cc motor. Super Beetles didn't come out until '71, and had a 1600cc motor.

Awesome! I had the 1/16 KW Aerodyne, and the front axle was very weak. I noticed your green Cabover is on a "jack" is it the same case? Is the Pete front axle weak too!? Just got it, and wonder if I need to reenforce it.

Anybody read or heard if Round 2 is doing anything as far as big trucks this year?

Alot of us appriciate ANYTHING new from who ever comes out with it. It coulda been a Tridem, or spread tandem, or mock stainless steel all around, or one of those big 7 or 8 axle Michigan specials. Coulda even been 2 trailers, for the option of Turnpike doubles. Opening doors, real working landing gear, door latches, and wheel option. STILL something would be wrong. If it DID come with all or even a few of those options, then there would be b**chin about the price. If you build them we will buy them!

Were like a buncha little kids, waitin around the Christmas tree for our parents to finally get up! lol
