  1. Nah, remember that when our Lonestar came out, it was pictured with a race car hauler. We got a REALLY cool 53' Reefer!!!!!! What ever it is, I'm sure we won't be disappointed!
  2. Would 7 more feet of trailer be that much more work? You can still only gross 80,000 on these, or? Plus a drom, You couldn't pack too much more freight on it, depending on what you are hauling.
  3. Heard this one on the radio, "This truck is loaded with Obama's Policies" Not meahing to offend anyone, I just thought it was funny!
  4. So this is what I get to look forward to!!! AWESOME
  5. One or both of the IH Transtars are my Holy Grail. Found my Turnpiker in Germany.
  6. Has to do with the blueprints. Its easier to get the CAD ones for the newer trucks. The old Transtars, Emeryville's, and R190's are all hand drawn. Getting the original blueprints, and all that would factor into the cost. I too asked about the older ones, as this isn't the exact quote of what was explained to me, this is what I got out of it.
  7. The wrath of the ex would have been disaster for my 1/14 Tamiya too if it weren't mostly metal! Sorry about your rock bucket!
  8. Also, since you aren't coupling it to a normal European trailer, You could mount the 5th wheel farther back on the frame. No need to cut n paste.
  9. I know the KW Aerodyne had an automatic. It still had kind of a shift tower. I've built both the Titan, and Astro. They both had gear shifts. Still, Thats a really awesome job!!!
  10. Its an awesome build! I was just wondering, looking at the picture with the cab tilted, there is no gear shift tower. Did you build it with an automatic transmission!?
  11. Got to studying it with the cab raised. Did you build it as an Automatic!!?
  12. Its almost the 2nd now, but HAPPY NEW YEAR from Kuwait! Hope 2013 is a good one, or better for everybody!!!
  13. They came in the Revell Snap 1/25th Pete YEARS ago.
  14. I see on the bottom front corner, instead of 53', it has 57'. False advertising?
  15. Thats awesome!! Its comletely scratchbuilt isnt it!? I spot a KW cab in there?
  16. Your trailer looks awesome!!! Was lookin at your Pete frame in the back ground. It looks like you may have put it together upside down. The front should be upside down like the back half!!
  17. This being an Australian truck, are you guys' frames double frames, with bigger radiators, and heavier axles!?
  18. I drove the wrecker version of this truck, the 984A1. For having an automatic strapped to it, My Gawd it would pull!!! Love your work on the Tanker!!!
  19. You are not alone! I was told in "therapy" last night by our our "Pete Guru", on another page, "There is no 12-step program - but there is a 20 step program that usually starts with assembling the engine block, then the chassis..etc.." Thanks Tim!!!!! Have fun!!!
  20. If it hadn't said Pete, At first glanceIt kinda resembled an old LJ Mack!! Gonna look awesome!
