Harry P. Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I've glued my fingers together in his honor many times...
Danno Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I've glued my fingers together in his honor many times... Me, too. Although, I didn't know at the time(s) that was the reason! RIP, glueman. And, thanks!
VW Dave Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 He stuck around for as long as he could. Tacky, man...just tacky
MikeMc Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 I remember Eastman 910....Just another thing the "Great Yellow Father" screwed up the marketing of :P
slantasaurus Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Am I the only one who imagined his coffin glued to the bottom of a steel "I" beam being lowered into the ground ????
my80malibu Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 I once heard that Superglue or Cyanoacrylik is used in making formaldehyde. (I hope I spelled those right) if that is true He may get the opportunity to use it for all eternity.
RodneyBad Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Darn, I can't think of anything funny to say, I'm stuck.
jeffs396 Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 RIP glue guy... There are a few men in this world who wish this stuff would have never been invented...ya know, the ones with vindictive ladies in their lives
Harry P. Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 I thought he would stick around forever... Just think of his poor family... must have been tough to lose someone who you've become so strongly attached to... RIMSHOT!!! Thank you... I'm here all week...
junkman1153 Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 the man came up with a good idea and stuck to it to the end.
Jim Gibbons Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 A sad bit of news. However, he has also caused me a lot of grief at certain times during my model building days. Credit should also be given to Chaim Weizmann, who developed a process to create acetone. There have been many times that that I appreciated Herr Weizmann more than Mr. Coover!
superhornet1015 Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 (edited) I guess that was a really sticky situation for him to die at 94. :) Edited March 30, 2011 by superhornet1015
