Guest Johnny Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 sure has gotten up there! Was going to change over to acrylics but after seeing it a three fifty a bottle I opted for the cheap old enamel. If I only need a couple I might have gone ahead and bought the acrylic but I needed 8 colors then the price of the thinner. Well maybe as these run out I can start changing over one at a time!

Believe it or not, the biggest cost of bottled paint isn't the small amount of paint in it--it's the bottle and cap. Art

sfhess Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 I still have some ten-cent Testor's bottles. I probably wouldn't use the paint in them though.....

jsimmons Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 With a modest investment in airbrush bottles, you could decant a rattle can and have several bottles of that color for a fraction of the cost. I think that's what I'm going to start doing.
