Jocache83 Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Hi all, Was wondering whats a good non-permanent glue so i can just pre-fit parts?
walt francis Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 I use elmers glue and when your done cleans right off.
oldscool Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 I use elmers glue and when your done cleans right off. Walt's idea is a good one. White glue doesn't penetrate the plastic so you can just pop the parts loose and any excess will peel off. gus

VW Dave Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 I'll add another vote for Elmer's white glue. I used it to tack the cheesy kit-supplied primary drive on my son's RM chopper so it could make it to the tables at the NNL East last year, and I replaced it with a much nicer resin piece from RepMinCo the week after.
Greg Pugh Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Another vote for white Elmer's glue. Really easy to use and clean up. Takes a while to set up but that can work to your advantage.
walt francis Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 I use poster tack . Ok, what is poster Tack ? Is that the stuff that looks like puddy ?
walt francis Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Yes sir, that is the stuff. No waiting for glue to dry, little clean up. I use it as well to hold parts for painting. Is this the stuff? i just picked it up today.
