Well, that sure is unique! Great looking seat upholstery. Where'd ya get that 1/25 burlap? I love it.

The fenderless pickup you like looks to be sectioned between the door hinges, effectively making the windows appear taller than OEM by bringing the door metal:window ratio closer to 50:50. You may want to try that on yours, or not. It's up to you. I'm sure people told Ed Roth his stuff was "different" too! B)

That is just cloth tape, sprayed with motormaster paint, Tundra.About the same color just a shade darker to get rid of finger stains. That section maybe a little more than I want to do,or is it?Seems easier to lift it.Maybe section also,ah man got me going now!A pennie for your thoughts? :)

Cool tip on the cloth tape - thanks!

If you have another '50 cab, try a 'cheater's section" - shave the door hinges and take the amount you want off the bottom of the cab. Works especially well on pickup cabs. ;) Try it and then compare the two cabs and use the one you like more.

Small up date. The roof is on,or should I say up 6mm?Needs some more sanding, but I'm gonna sweep the floor first. B) Brought the grill and lights out 3mm,a little over bite if you will.001-1.jpg002-2.jpg003-2.jpg

I like the rear fenders too! did you make skirts and then filled them in?

What I did was glue a piece on the back, and then drew outline shape of original, for fit and fill. Then I traced the final shape which is from a 65 chevelle rear quarter.Cut that out and BAM!Then glue some strips to get the ledge. Thanks guys!Love it or hate it I still thank y'all for comments.Don't be shy cause when it's finished my drummer and best friend will tear it apart with his idea of how I should have built it.He will only look at my finished work :)

Did this to the rear window.I left it original size but hey ,things change in my mind so here it is now. This should bring me closer to paint now, after some more filling and sanding. ;)001-2.jpg002-3.jpg
