Olds Rocket 88 Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Does anyone know of a 1/25th kit made with a chevy ZZ4 350 engine... it would have center bolt valve covers... thanks.
Chuck Most Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Not totally sure, but the AMT C-1500 and fourth gen Camaro/Firebird kits have small blocks with the center-bold valve covers, not sure how close they'd be to the ZZ4, though.
george 53 Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Use the center bolt valve covers on ANY first gen small block chevy, an you'll be ok.ONLY the LT-1 series (94 to 98) have the dist. in front BEHIND the water pump. The rest still have it at the back of the intake manifold. That's the beauty of model cars, it can even be an ALL aluminum 427 small block, if ya want it to be! I LOVE model cars!!!
Eric Stone Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 (edited) Chuck is correct. And the AMT 454SS truck has a set of center bolt smallblock valve covers on its sprue due to it being based on the C1500 tool. Edited April 8, 2011 by Eric Stone
