crazyjim Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 A friend of a friend has somewhere between 23 and 27,000 Hot Wheels - that's right 27,000!! Also a couple hundred MatchBox cars and a variety of Hot Wheels items like watches. I'm just passing the word so I have no idea about trades or anything. If you're interested, contact Garland MRGEZ503@tampabay.rr.com.

crazyjim Posted April 25, 2011 Author Posted April 25, 2011 Like I said, I just posted for a friend of a friend. Contact Garland at the email address I posted.
Lunajammer Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Like I said, I just posted for a friend of a friend. Contact Garland at the email address I posted. So if he's not telling you whether he's selling them or not, does he just want the world to know he has 27-thousand Hot Wheels?
crazyjim Posted April 26, 2011 Author Posted April 26, 2011 I don't even know the guy (Garland). He's the friend of a friend. I couldn't care less about Hot Wheels car, but I thought some MCM people might be interested. For all I know they'll be given away. If you're interested, send Garland an email.
Lunajammer Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Oh, I'm just yankin' your chain a little Jim. I've consciously avoided Hot Wheels most of my life for the simple reason that they're cheap, you buy a few, they don't take up much space, you get to liking them, you discover certain ones have some value and before you know it you have 27-thousand. Naturally, I own about a dozen favorites but it's a seductive mistress to flirt with.

Yeah, they can be addictive...I've been collecting Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Tomica, etc since childhood, later added Johnny Lightning, Greenlight, M2, Siku, etc...I easily have 15k diecast or more...
