evilone Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 so i went through my hotwheels collection from when i was a small tike. After the 4th box i found this beauty and quickly recognized it as a tucker . Im not sure the model so if someone does i would love to find some 1:1 pics to make this realistic. Anyways heres what it started as to be continued
evilone Posted April 26, 2011 Author Posted April 26, 2011 After trip to the booth #1 to be continued
evilone Posted April 26, 2011 Author Posted April 26, 2011 trip to the booth #2 Oh snap im using alcolad finally (first time ever using this type of chroming) More to come guys so stay tuned
RodneyBad Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 That's NOT a Tucker. Then what is it Harry? BTW: I figured it wasn't one too. Anywhooos. Paint is looking really good on it and so is the Alclad chassis. looks like New.. again
Harry P. Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Then what is it Harry? I have no idea. Looks like a weird one-off custom or show car of some sort. There were no two-seater Tuckers, and Tuckers were rear-engine. This is a Tucker:
Chuck Most Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Looks like the Buick LeSabre concept, with a Studebaker nose. Whatever it is, I like it.

Tumbler75 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I really like the paint job on this one! To me it looks like a Studebaker nose on a Stutz Roadster. Interesting for sure.
Scale-Master Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I really like the paint job on this one! To me it looks like a Studebaker nose on a Stutz Roadster. Interesting for sure. I thought it was based on a Stutz too. It's a Hot Wheels, could be anything or any combination of things... Nice work BTW.
evilone Posted April 27, 2011 Author Posted April 27, 2011 Thanks guys im still trying to figure out some 1:64th scale junk for the interior lol idk if my printer can print that clear though
CorvairJim Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 While I'm not an expert on Hot Wheels cars, I do know that they generally have the car's name on the chassis plate. If it's based on a real car, it will tell you (or some variation on the theme; for instance, their recent mid-engine V-8-powered Corvair that they called the "Vairy 8"). Therefore, see what it says on the chassis. If it's some off-the-wall name, the car is just the figment of some Hot Wheels designer's imagination... with lots of 1950's show car styling cues.

DiscoSpud Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 all it has on the chassis is copyright 1990 and the hotwheels logo. Ahh in that case google hotwheels inventories under the year 1990 and browse images on database pages. Lol trust me this works, i have a collection of over 300

I checked the cars from the 1991 releases, figuring some of them might show a 1990 casting date and I came up with this image, also identified as the "Street Beast": http://images.wikia.com/hotwheels/images/4/40/Street_Beast_WhtTrq.JPG
