twotonegmc Posted April 9, 2007 Posted April 9, 2007 Hello everyone! This is my first post. I've been lurking around and this looks like a great place to talk models. I have shared this model on other boards before and I thought it would be a good first show for me. It's the Johan Chrysler Turbine car (white, full detail reissue) this build is about two years old. I'm very happy with the way it turned out and thanks to the reviews of other modelers I got it together without any real difficulty. Everything that should work does so fairly well. Thanks for letting me share what I hope to be many more builds. Phil.
S10man Posted April 9, 2007 Posted April 9, 2007 Great build Phil, and a nice tribute to our beleaguered Mounties!
bsoder Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 So that's where all those old turbine cars really went!! cool build
Jimn1 Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Hello. Just saw your 2007 ? Post re: RCMP turbine. I have a story regarding a detail you may have missed on the build from someone who was caught speeding one moon light night in the Prairies in SK by one of these vehicles. Let me know if you would like details. Jim
doorsovdoon Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Now that's cool! Very different, and great detail too. I like the missing hub cap on the front wheel. Very nice build.
Dominik Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 ...just searched my fnished builds and passed by...Your idea is great! Is it possible to see more pictures?
happy grumpy Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 Great take on the subject.Would have been interesting to see where we would be had Chrysler pushed the design further.I like the idea of a turbine police car, kind of makes me think blade runner. great build and great idea
Zippi Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 Nice. I'll bet the cop that drove that cruiser never let a speeder get away.
