george 53 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Rest In Peace, Bill. the Goldenrod is on permanent display at the Henry Ford Museum, along with quite a few more historical hot rods. It is BIG! Or should I say long! It is a beautiful car.
Greg Myers Posted May 17, 2011 Author Posted May 17, 2011 I met Bill in Sun City AZ in the late eighty's. He had towed the Goldenrod to a friends house there to repaint it for the show circuit.I only wish now I had taken more pictures and notes.
Racephoto1 Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 What a collection of cars in Sun City. The Goldenrod, the T-Bird and the Road Runner. If those cars could only talk.

Racephoto1 Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 What do you have under the hood? 383 or 440 ? I had a couple friends who ran superstock in the 70's. One had a 440 six pack superbee. The other had a 63 Dodge wagon with an aluminium dog house with a 426 max wedge, with 2 carters , I think. Little foggy on the carters. My dad ran a SS/I duster 340. Always looked at the bees and Chargers as flying boxcars. I just like the old Mopars.

I had a 440 4spd R/T back in the day.I also had A 440 automatic 69 Super B too. all I'd like ta ask them is if they'd like to move to Michigan, and enjoy being enjoyed in the summer, and a nice warm garage to sleep in in the winter. And be OGLED ALL YEAR LONG,by ME!!!!!! Beautiful car.
