You can only change the size of an image, can't change the size of the pixels... that's built into the camera and/or monitor you have; you can't change their size. You can only change the size of an image, can't change the size of the pixels... that's built into the camera and/or monitor you have; you can't change their size. That's not quite true Harry. By changing the pixels per inch { resolution } in a photo shop you are actually making them smaller or larger. If you have a picture 4.167x3.19 with a resolution of 72.000 - pixels / inch and you change it to 144,00 pixels / inch you reduced the size by half and the picture size will change to 2.083x1.567.So you can change the pixel size.
