Looks like a classic houndstooth pattern. You could download something that looks close and make your own decals on your computer. If you paint the seat back the proper base color, then print your pattern to size on clear paper, you should be good to go. For my Mercedes Gullwing, I replicated the racing plaid upholstery on the computer and printed it on inkjet cloth (for 1/16 and 1/12 scales).

pay some body to make a decal sheet thats ez and looks good .....im old school paint your 2 tone blue ..then your flat white dry brush black till it looks right but thats hard to get right ...jr

That Detail Master's stuff looks very good to me, must order one set of it. Which version has that kind of decals? The original, newer Lowrider release or the California Wheels kit? Or does every kit have those decals, I mean just black and white checkered pattern? I'm thinking of building a replica from dad's '60 Impala 2D HT Sportcoupe, it has that kind of checkered pattern.

Yep. No sense beating yourself up with more complicated methods. Just get/use the kit decals from the RevMono '60 Impala; and you're done! Simple as that.
