I have been working on a military design Scania R620 for some time, as my interest has always been 1/35 scale military vehicles. I decided I wanted to try and build one in 1/24 scale.

I must say that this particular Italeri kit is very good. The chassi of this particular model is beautiful. It looks almost like it came out of a Batman film. You'll see what I mean when you look at my pics. The constructions went well but the fittings could have been better. Regardless, the build went smoothly. Some irretations here and there but nothing too major. I had looked at some of the Dutch Scania trucks and got most of the ideas from their military Scania tractors.

Hope you enjoy the pics so far. I am 99% done.

Interesting, Charles. There sure us a lot of stuff in the cab. Does the Swedish military use these?

Nice one Tiking,

I like all the details in & out of the cab, but you missed something. There should be a coca cola can somewhere on the dashboard, it s neccessery because of cheetos B):D :D ;)

I have seen in the past many millitary SCANIAs but never a TOPLINE CAB one. It is very strange for me to see a long distance cab dressed in millitary.

Thanks guys. This particular build is adapted to suit my liking and is not particular to any replicate that is out there today. Although the characteristics are the same. I know about not seeing a Topline version in the Dutch or Danish arsenal. I have been looking for one on the net but have not come across any. So, although this particular version of my build does not represent any real version out there today(that I know of) it is purely speculative that they ever used a Topline version.

...and you're right, there should be a coke on the dash board, Kostas. :)
