Dave B Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 I built this old girl over 30 years ago but still like it. It was built back in the days when you used material on interiors!! Now the material is rather dusty and will not clean properly even though it is in a glass showcase, sorry. Did a lot of mods mostly utilising custom parts from the AMT '57 Chev kit. Opened the doors & boot, lowered & channeled it, rounded the bonnet, boot & doors and split the front seat so they lay forward individually. Sprayed in nail polish, probably one of my very first attempts. Thanks for looking Dave B 1
Mike Kucaba Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Looks like it held up well for 30 years!! The tailite treatment works well on this too.
62rebel Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 that's a pretty nice rendition and well thought out, unlike many customs i've seen. i wouldn't apologize for a little dust... that means it was good enough to keep on display!
