Jon Cole
Candy Apple Red, indeed! Make sure nobody sinks their teeth in that! Nice!
speedy5963
Thank you Jon, it came out pretty nice. This was the first base coat candy I've sprayed and did not know what to expect, have always used the urethanes

Jim Gibbons
Sweet! I like where this is going. Man, I just got a 40+ year flashback on building the Monogram '36.

Foxer
I tend to "judge" paint online by the reflections ... this passes with flying colors!! Very nice.
charlie8575
That is a pretty little coupe you've got there. I like this very much. Charlie Larkin
speedy5963
Thank you for the comments, I considering setting the top prior to painting but I was concerned with getting the glass set at the end. When I press it down it looks pretty good, but we'll see. Going to take some time but I think it will set well
62rebel
regarding the seam; imho if the rest of build is exemplary and all that remained was this engineered-in quirk thanks to the kit maker.... fuggedaboutit! let it ride! there are many ways to deal with it, but all require invasive "surgery" to the kit that some folks aren't comfortable with. i'm entranced by that shiney paint, myself.....
