mikemodeler
Hey G & J ! I really liked the article in the current issue on Fred Cady and wondered if you had any others planned soon? It was very interesting to see how Fred does what we does and makes me to remember his name next time I am in need of decals. Given the recent releases by The Model King, I think it would be great if we could all see how Dave has been able to bring us all of the kits of our youth that many of us thought would never be back. It would also be nice to see the inner workings of the resin casting world and maybe even the aftermarket companies like SE Ltd., RMCO, etc. Just a thought , hope you think it is worth looking into. Thanks, Mike
camaroman
Mike, that's a great idea for a second round of "insiders". I too would like to see this continue at least on a semi- regular basis.
BIGTRUCK
The Cady decal article was interesting , I also would enjoy seeing other cottage industry articles. there's a lot of work that goes into the products that make us happy..
Billy Kingsley
I want to see more of these as well. I had always planned to pitch something similar to Gregg but never got around to it, but I was just thinking well known modelers. I still think those pics of Fred are from a while ago though...they look awfully similar to the pictures in BC's NASCAR book! (Not that that's a bad thing, they were black and white there IIRC, it's been a while since I took the book out and actually looked)
