Dyno Davo Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Wow Brad, I'm liking this car's new suit mate. Great color scheme and awesome build
vintagedragfan Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 that is one awesome build Brad, I wish I could come to the DSC so I could see it in person! you should be very happy with it
gasser59 Posted August 22, 2017 Author Posted August 22, 2017 While updating the photos for this thread, I realized there are a few things to redo. Mainly the rear tires need replacing. I sanded them down with too rough of a sandpaper and none of the four sets of decals would stick. This needs to get fixed. There are a few other things I like to update as well. I'll get these done eventually. Stay tuned. I'm not quite done.
jaftygas Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 This is a great thread! The altered cars are some of my favorite. This is a great car I love it BTW thanks so much for the straight axle drawings I must give this a try.
gasser59 Posted October 12, 2017 Author Posted October 12, 2017 Thx Joe. Glad you enjoyed it and let me know how your front end works out. On my '25 Chopped Ford street rod, I modified how I did the turn buckle by using brass and soldering them. Much stronger.
trapper Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Great build I love all the details! Where do you get printers plate from?
gasser59 Posted October 25, 2017 Author Posted October 25, 2017 (edited) Thanks so much Craig. I contacted a local small printer and asked the owner about purchasing some used printing plates. He offered them for free once I showed him some pictures of what I use them for. I still paid him enough to buy a 6 pack. Edited October 25, 2017 by gasser59
