Hi everybody. I'm away to sell a few of my diecast cars. I will be getting £200 (dont know what that is in $) but I want to spend the cash on my modeling hobby. I've always wanted a big scale car. Don't know what or where to find them. I'm in the uk so eBay hasn't got much. Just thought I'd put this up see what u guys would buy

how is your airbrush/compressor set up ?

this would be a great time to make an investment like that

not sure about big scale kits but if you consider 1/16th big enough there will be a street charger comming out soon...i know i wanna get one

that's just about $320 US, I'd probably buy the kits on my wanted list or invest in a decent airbrush set up too LOL! Or save it, never know what you may need it for so you don't really *have* to spend it LOL B)

The best thing you could do would to send it to me. I accept cash, checks and paypal. B):P

Lol what u gona send me in return. Haha.

Ps my airbrush set up is fine for me. As for my wanted list I don't really have one. Except I want a big scale. When I say big I mean bigger than 1/24. ;)

Well I can't speak for Jim, but I would certainly send you pictures of everything I bought, so you had the piece of mind of knowing all the joy your money brought to me.

Hey. I asked first. More seriously, hold on to the money until you find what you want and then get it.

Haha well I don't know what I want. Well I kind of do but don't know where to get it. I'm looking for either a 1/16ish muscle car or japaneese tuner to do. Just don't know where to find them here?? Looked on eBay haven come across much. B)

My dad always said to me whenever I got a few dollars, "Money burning a hole in your pocket?"

Tools. A lot of them. you will always find money here or there for a new model kit, but when to have a large sum of money to blow, investing in tools that will make your model building easier or better is the way to go.

Some suggestions;

Dial caliper

pin vise

air brush / compressor

files

sprue cutter

tubing cutter

tubing bender

Sorry for my less than intelligent question, but does pin vice thing require a compressor or does it run on batteries? Never heard of it before now so I googled it and it seems very useful.

Neither Andrey. The pin vise is run with your hand. There's some different ones out there - some are double ended so you can use drille bits at each end; others are single and feature a swivel top. I have 2 or 3 of each with diffent sized drill bits ready to go. I also have a small Dremel dril motor that I find extremely useful.

I have a dremell which is great like. Got it real cheap too. That corvette above is that any good. I seen 2 on uk eBay one being the 88 and one being an 84. Are they any good has anybody built either there the 1/16 mpc ones.

Oooh, how about the McLaren M8A from Tamiya? It's 1/16 scale, I believe.
