Harry P. Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Gee, I'd love to make a bid, but I just dropped about $20 million on my new private jet... so I'm a little short this month.
Harry P. Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 you should just use your model cars magazine check    Now that's funny!
Jim Gibbons Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 I was all set to bid, but I have alternate side of the street parking where I live, and it would be a PITA to get up every morning to move it, especially without power steering. That and the Mercedes hood ornament would likely end up stolen.
Chuck Most Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Gee, I'd love to make a bid, but I just dropped about $20 million on my new private jet... so I'm a little short this month. Maybe he'll take the Mustang as a trade. I mean, an old Mercedes can't cost THAT much, right?
Harry P. Posted July 27, 2011 Posted July 27, 2011 Drop it, chop it, hop it... It's expected to sell for over $10 million. Somehow I don't think the next owner will do that...
CEKPETHO BCE Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 I would run it fenderless and channeled. Maybe section the body a bit
jeff ewaskey Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Like the old saying goes..... anyone can restore a classic but it takes a real man to cut one up!!!! Lol

JesseJames Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 What a beautiful car! The ideas that come to mind just looking at it.. Imagining who would be riding around in that pre-world war 2. Such a gem, and to think it will be 75 years old next year... Craziness. I can't really believe anyone would even think of cutting it up in any fashion
Guest Markus355 Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Like the old saying goes..... anyone can restore a classic but it takes a real man to cut one up!!!! Lol Too right fella!
Tony T Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Just brings the value up of the rest out there when you cut one up!
