Hey. I normally prefer to remain in the shadows but I recently completed a trade with a member on here. I have no real blame to lay on anyone but I would like all of you prospective traders to remember to pack the item you're going to trade safely as if you would like to receive that item. I received an item that was probably packed with good intentions of safe travel but it arrived in unuseable condition (broken and unrepairable). Hopefully the item I sent out arrived at their destination in the same good condition in which I sent them out. I'm going back into my corner now. :D

I always pack in a larger box with some kind of padding around it. And whenever possible I add extra padding inside the kit box.

One thing I'll add is do not send parts in a regular mailing envelope. They will not survive the sorting machines! Small decals are the only exception.

Call me stupid, but I haven't figured out what the big deal is. As long as you got in in good condition, that's all that matters. :D:huh::D

I ran the repair shop and shipping department for my former employer for 20 plus years, and I've seen just about everything. It is a no-brainer as far as I am concerned to spend an exrta 2 minutes packing your shipment well. Decades of exposure to UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, and Greyhound taught me that a small bit of extra effort will ensure that the item in your package arrives in one piece. Sheesh, what is wrong with these shippers?
