Drake69 Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I had started this kit and was nearly done when I decided to hold off on it and work on the General Lee. Now that the General is nearly complete I decided to finish this one up. It's the MPC retool from Round 2 built stock with ModelMaster Icy Blue lacquer...
Drake69 Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 (edited) Last set... The only issue with this that I had was the hood had difficulty sitting down, but otherwise it's a pretty straightforward kit. Edited August 6, 2011 by Drake69
Drake69 Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 You painted the turn signals blue! Huh? Turn signals were painted chrome silver (as a base) with clear orange in the front and clear red in the back. Glare from the flash, maybe?
Drake69 Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 Unless you're talking about under the headlights in the front. Whoops, I think I missed those..... Well, back to the dungeon for a quick touchup in correct colors!
Drake69 Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 Yup, caught my own mistake as well. Easy fix, will post up the results when I get them done tonight.
