(due to major body damage).. i was gonna starty a pro touring ride .. but then i ran across this. the polar lights 65 dodge coronet. black. i got this at a yard sale for 2.00 buck unopend, and complete. plans are for a HEMI, tubbed to the frame rails 6 point roll bar , modded hood scoop.. just a NASTY STREET CAR.. heres the start... and the start of the tubbs.. more to come soon.. george 53 Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 Off to a good start,Davin. Personally, I LIKE this kit. i matched it up with an original AMT 65 Dodge, an it looked pretty good to me. I don't understand why folks don't like it. It'll look sinister in black, you leavein it that color?

mopar01lee Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 got a lill update ... started the hood scoop. its a modded max wedge scoop..an it wont be this high . but will be higher than stock.. got the frame set up for moving the springs inboard.... and a mock of the hemi .. i will be modifing the valve covers... later days...... davin

I'm also calling you a bad influence, as you've made me dig out the same model(also in black) from my stash and add it to my 'to do' list. I'm hoping you do shorten that hood scoop a tad, as it reminds me too much of Paul Teutul Jr.'s nose :
