sak Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 My 1:1. 318, 2 barrel. 46,000 original miles. Hopefully, next year I can afford a full repaint. Also planned is a 8 3/4 rear axle. Looks silly as is, front wheels have a wider wheelbase than the back with a 7 1/4 axle. Not sure why Chrysler did this rediculous thing but it was not noticeable until I had wider tires and wheels put on.
JDMcorolla Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 my daily slider weekend driver.....lol and my new project to replace the one above as my daily driver
FujimiLover Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 (edited) Well, you've seen mine in other threads already but I'll play along! Bone stock except for Momo gear knob. There is an outfit in Florida that's developed a turbo-kit for this car but it's out of my price range for now. So she remains stock. With 55mpg city, and 70-sometimes 80mpg highway, you can't really complain. While she's not fast, she's certainly very slipery and feels fast. Almost hard to keep her at the speed limit, very little resistance. Edited March 23, 2009 by FujimiLover

Nick F40 Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Dingo, I love ALL your cars. Those are some real sports cars. You race any? I see some of those Cibie rally lights That Cortina oh man! My dad had a 76 Celica so I always liked them. How do you have all these?
Dingo Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Nick, the Celica thru to the Signa are pld cars that have now gone but the rest are cars that my wife and I bought and have just hung onto, the Cortina is being rebuilt into a nostalgic racer, the magna is our current street/rally car, the falcon now belongs to our son after we owned & drove it for about 10 years it still runs it original straight 6 3.3 liter carby motor, the mazda & colt are just sitting in the yard waiting for something to happen they could get sold off as wrecks even though they're good and the Leyland P76 is our classic car that w euse ever 2 years or so on a classic run but we're thinking of putting a full roll cage into it upping the power of the motor and using it on the Classic Adelaide Car Rally held in our home town each year it runs on L.P.Gas (propane) and has twin 100 liter tanks in the boot (trunk) that's how big the boot is. Dingo
Nick F40 Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Ahhh that's still cool. I wish I knew you! I like the wagons that Mitsubishi rally? oh yeah!!! Your son is lucky. That Mitsubishi kind of looks like an Audi 100
RodneyBad Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Now I see the dual antennas Looks like you need to get a 4by too.

Your "swifty" looks great. The Mark 4 bumpers look amazing. What year is it? 93 or 94? They laughed when I said my 87 turbo Sprint made 100 hp with some mods, but you got to have a 5 speed. Oh, don't mention your car get over 40 mpg city, with not electric assist. Team Swift for life.
Spike Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Now I see the dual antennas Looks like you need to get a 4by too. told ya i had em na, 4x4s arnt my thing
B_rad88 Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 (edited) its a 1994 geo metro with a swift gt conversion, and those are american mk3 swift gt bumpers. the side skirts don't fit, and the sunroof came out of a civic. geo metros don't come with sunroofs. i hate the automatic it sucks. but i hit redline and past everyday. i got it to go 35 mph in first and that at 7250rpm well past the redline of 6500. then a honda insight rear ended me and my whole car shrunk about a foot! that was a year ago. i am looking for another geo metro but a 3 door not a 5 door and a maual not an auto. the 5 door is harder to find, and to get in the rear door is narrow and very tight, and the back seat is small! My daily driver is a '96 Lincoln Town Car and my fun car is a 68 Cadillac Coupe DeVille that I did a lot of custom work to looks sick!!! I just ordered 22" centerline smoothies and an MSD electronic ignition conversion for my 64 DeVille convertible.
The Creative Explorer Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Ok, I am sorry, no big USA metal over here. My car's are made in France. My daily driver; A 2004 Renault Megane GrandTour 2.0 16V Privilige Luxe, smooth ride and it runs on Propane-gas! And my fun car, although I have been driving it for four years now; A 1988 Renault Super5 1.4 GTTurbo, it has a tiny engine, but it does bring 130BHP and 0-60 in about 6.5 seconds. Which not bad for a trolley-cart
Custom Hearse Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 i have one of those pullback 'n' go cars. its a geo metro! its got only 55 hp and 50 lbft. from a 3 cylinder suzuki engine and it goes 0-60 in 3 years with the slow auto tranny it has in it. I know of a guy in Springfield Mo. who decided to get more speed out of his Geo Metro.... He put a blown 454 Chevy into it. He had to build a new firewall, new dash board, new seating arrangement.... Then he narrowed a Ford nine inch (all that was left pretty much was the pumpkin), and added pro street tires to it. I wish I still had the pics i took of it....
B_rad88 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 i haven't seen that one, but how about this metro. it has a buick gnx 3.8l turbo V6 with rear wheels drive, and it has n.o.s. here is a video from you tube! its the same metro!!! hope you like!!! notice the geo started late of the line!!! and he still whooped him!!! the other car was a '00 camaro!
