Jim B Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Tamiya Metalic Blue is a good match for the blue that International/Navistar uses on their MaxxForce engines.
Old Albion Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 I have not bought the lonestar kit as yet and was wondering does it have details of the colours in the instructions? Dave
mistermodel Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Dave yes it does .I dont have the kit in front of me to check, but its a big list .Can't wait to get at mine.
Dave Metzner Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Here's a new MaxxForce 15 sitting on a pallet the blue color is visible in this photo hope this helps
chuckyr Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Dave Metzner, Will their be any happy surprises from Moebius for truck model fans as far as big rig announcements during the Chicago model show this October?
Dave Metzner Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Working on a couple projects - Hope that we can make announcements in October...
MIKE C.. Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 dave you give us a lot to think about now, what could it be? i cant wait for oct now, lol. and by the way, I LOVE THE LONESTAR, GREAT KIT.
BigBad Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 (edited) Working on a couple projects - Hope that we can make announcements in October... Uh-oh! If Dave says something like this in this section of the forum It's bound to be interesting! A Prostar maybe? An up to date 53 foot reefer? Let it start, the anticipation will go through the roof! Who will have the best guess? It's only good fun anyway... Edited August 25, 2011 by Z06Bob
MIKE C.. Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 i hope its the prostar, but who knows. it could be a diff truck.but I do wish for a 53ft reefer that looks like the real trailer, not that italeri ######.but i do have a few of them, lol.
MIKE C.. Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 what is a WORKSTAR? never herd of one.........
MIKE C.. Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 OK,SO THATS A WORKSTAR. I JUST GOOGLED IT. I SEE THOSE TRUCKS EVERY DAY. BUT DID NOT KNOW THAT WAS ITS NAME. THAT WOULD MAKE A GOOD KIT.
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Id go for a workstar, I very much do not like the hideous prostar. I agree. There are SO many possabilities for a WorkStar in scale.
blue logger Posted August 27, 2011 Author Posted August 27, 2011 hey Vaughn, i'm gonna scratch build a ( Manic) flat deck for it an do the trailer 2 mix the truck wit color as well ..i got most of the truck built now just not painted its only sittin 2gether .
BigBad Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Id go for a workstar, I very much do not like the hideous prostar. Justin, you have the right to your opinion, but "hideous"?? I've seen worse than the Prostar from more "prestigious" companies, AND some classics aren't much to look at either... But I have to agree that a Workstar would open up some interesting opportunities.
mountaindewd Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 I agree. There are SO many possabilities for a WorkStar in scale. Ditto! Prostar as well. Anxiously waiting!
bsoder Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Working on a couple projects - Hope that we can make announcements in October... Well I'm really lookin' forward to getting my hands on the Prostar kit, I really hope sales of this kit will be very good
BigBad Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 There is going to be a LOT of speculation about this!!! Nobody said exactly what it could be just yet. There is only hope that there will be an anouncement, don't forget. I'm just hoping we get the announcement. But it's kinda exciting though!
