Chuck Most Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I'm strongly considerng getting one (if I can find one at a decent price)- that somewhat 'chunky' body would look pretty good as a pro-touring car.
Ron Hamilton Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I started on my Ranchero last week, and I can say that it is going together like a jig saw puzzle. I had to swap out the tires, as the rubber compound will not work with the gel pen I use for whitewalls. I am not too thrilled with the engine in the kit, so I will probably rob the parts box for an AMT 289/4-speed combination. I plan to build it as a tow car for an AMT '65 Falcon Race Car.
Maindrian Pace Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 I'm gathering the parts for the replica of my 1:1. Some of those parts are not that easy to find. -MJS
sjordan2 Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Calkichi strikes again. Inaccuracies or not, this is a slam dunk. http://www.hobidas.com/blog/j-tipo/desktop/
