MarkJ Posted October 21, 2011 Author Posted October 21, 2011 Interior, body and frame are together. Just need to assemble the wheels and tires and install the grille , bumpers, tailights, fuel cap and hood and trunk bungi cords.
MarkJ Posted October 25, 2011 Author Posted October 25, 2011 Everything is done except for the front bumper, installing the wheels and tires to the car and bare metal foiling the trim. After that decalling and futuring will finish the project.
MarkJ Posted October 31, 2011 Author Posted October 31, 2011 Here is an out of focus picture taken of the model in an old model case just to show the progress so far. I have the bmf finished on the left side. Still need to do the right side and the moldings around the roof, windshield and back glass.
Dr. Cranky Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Wow, that's some great modifications . . . keep it going.
MarkJ Posted November 9, 2011 Author Posted November 9, 2011 I tried to download the finished pictures of the model this morning but Photobucket wasnt working. Hopefully they will get it fixed by tommorrow.
MarkJ Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 Finally finished. More pictures in the Nascar section of this site.
John Goschke Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Outstanding work on the trim conversion. This model has a very authentic look.
MarkJ Posted November 13, 2011 Author Posted November 13, 2011 Thanks to all that replied to this topic. I really appreciated the input.
