Scale-Master Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Not too shiny, low budget nostalgia ride, just a cool summer cruiser adorned with the local annual cruise logos... Except for the "Bomb Girl" all the graphics were masked and sprayed, Tamiya satin/flat lacquers sealed with Future then scuffed with a Scotch-Brite pad.
Harry P. Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Is this your usual tiny model, or 1/24-25 scale? BTW... gotta agree with Dave. The wheels, um, well... another choice might have been more, uh, appropriate. But hey. That's just one man's opinion...
Scale-Master Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 (edited) wheels? not so much Agreed, I selfishly kept the Halibrands from the kit for another project. I am donating it to someone who won't mind the wheels. (I really don't like those wheels...) It's 1/25, a Revell snap kit. Edited September 20, 2011 by Scale-Master
Reeves Racing Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 Cruise for the cure... is that the Michael Scott's Dunder Mifflin Scranton Marideth Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-Am Fun Run Race For The Cure ?
Dr. Cranky Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 I like this model, the paint color is perfect and the decals add another wonderful dimension to it.
Dusted1972 Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 hmm,I dont know,I kinda like the wheels.Nice looking 57!
Dr. Cranky Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 I keep coming back to this one, it's a well-done and executed model.
Skydime Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 (edited) I think it's pretty cool that you made a model of a car that is on the level of many daily drivers that go to cruise-ins. As for the wheels, I like them because I'm not a big fan of a big side wall without whitewalls...plus they are close to what I have on my truck. Edited September 21, 2011 by Skydime
