MikeBoyle Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 Finally finished one! Just a quick rebuild of an old AMT kit that took waaayyy too long. This was my first attempt at using Alcad II and have to say that while its not perfect, it looks much better than I thought it would.
John Goschke Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 That's really nice! Great modern take on a great old kit.
1320wayne Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 That is one sweet looking build. The two tone look is perfect.
cruz Posted April 30, 2007 Posted April 30, 2007 .You did very well with the Alclad my friend, love what you did with that truck 8) 8)
SteveKnox Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Man, I sure love those old Ford trucks. That is a beautiful build!
RodBurNeR Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 killer! i like it! i have two of these to build up. thank you for sharing it, i don't see many built.
Harold Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 That's a really impressive build you've got there. Dark blue and silver are a natural choice for two toning, and your foil work is spot-on. I especially like the look of the Alclad.
nitram22 Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 Great job. Those kits are impossible to find without paying an arm and a leg. Here's mine (in my dad's barn): Hosted on Fotki
Harold Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 Great job. Those kits are impossible to find without paying an arm and a leg. Here's mine (in my dad's barn): Good thing you showed a pic of the truck- I'd hate to think you removed a couple of limbs and were storing them in your Dad's barn (LOL).
38 Crush Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 Outstanding build!! Came out great. I might have to build one myself
