moparmagiclives Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 (edited) I know someone in here knows what this is or what its for. I found it hanging on a rack in an old tire store here local. The size is an L60/15. I think it would look killer with an old ansen in it hanging on the wall Edited September 27, 2011 by moparmagiclives
Darin Bastedo Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Funny that you picture it with an ansen...here is a 1979 ad from Car craft
moparmagiclives Posted September 27, 2011 Author Posted September 27, 2011 Thats awesome. Thanks a ton !!!! Now all I need is to find one of those "cobra" things setting in a barn to go with it..lol
Guest Johnny Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 I actually bough a set of those from Sears.years ago I don't know who made them but the tread pattern was similar to Mickey Thompsons!

Shelby Sixty tires were made by Uniroyal rubber in the early to late 1970's and sold by everyone from K-Mart to J.M. Fields - They were RWL tires that were of the same composition type as the polyglass belted tires of the mid to late 1960's - Edited September 27, 2011 by Darin Bastedo
mikemodeler Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Well, if any of you are old enough to remember the old Uniroyal commercials, there were three actors on there- Uni, Roy, & Al- that were the first I recall ever being named AFTER a tire company. So, shall we name it Uni, Roy, or Al?
moparmagiclives Posted September 27, 2011 Author Posted September 27, 2011 I had a friend that was named "justin" , His dad said "just in case I wasnt the father". So far the best my wife has come up with is "junk" "trash" and " what good is that"
