69A-CAR Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Here is my latest project, a learning experience for me. I have never really messed with resin except for lift axles and small parts, the hood on this came from Porkys and it is NICE! I also used one of the new FG rear day cab inserts, also, very nice. I shortened the frame .75" and added rear fenders from Porkys too ( had to stretch mine .25") shortened up the external breathers per pics on truck paper, added plano mess for the grill, and cut the stacks 1". My favorite part of this truck are the winslow decals from Jerry at Modeltruckin, these are really nice, I have quite a few sets here and will be doing another variation or 2 in the future. I still want to add some more details, but my building time has not been great lately. Thanks for looking, Mark
Jim B Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Very nice, Mark. You did a really nice job with the conversions.

mackinac359 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 SWEEET! It looks like a former Laidlaw unit with the sleeper removed. Tim

69A-CAR Posted October 8, 2011 Author Posted October 8, 2011 now that is awsome...very nice work.....what did you think of the fg day cab panel??any good??? They are very nice! Fit the Italeri panels perfect, the taller one for the ultra cab does not really line up with the tall roof from porkys. I might try to fit those 2 together this winter. But if you get 1 of the others it will work fine. Mark
