why do u lay the foil first?

I think, that when it's layed- then paint primer and after the rear color some polishing and then that text comes out, so it's like polishing the paint off from that spot. Am I correct?

I've seen it done that way and it looks real.But you have to sand very lightly or all work for the effect is lost.

I didn't think doing the injectors would be a big process

This was just a quick mock up of the manifold painted Alum. and red inlay and gloss black injectors...Not real happy

Ok, clean them up and tape them off and paint the tips stop light red Met.

Strip and repaint the injectors flat black and repaint the manifold all aluminum and next put a black strip around the base of the red on the tubes when they dry...just can't be happy with "It's good enough" headbash
