Just a truck I am working on. New to the site and pretty new to modelling. Any help with frames and any details would be greatly appreciated.<a href=<a href=<a href=<a href=<a href=

I'd really appreciate it if yall would look at these pictures and basically just critique it i guess,

thanks!

Yes i know, it is not on purpose however, the photos i have are too big so it would not let me post them. I then tried to use a photobucket to copy the URLs but that didn't not work out too well either. Kind of ashamed to say this right now but I don't really know what to do now.

What do you guys suggest for making the actual frame? Thanks

Check your local hobby shop for a Evergreen or Plastruct rack and find an appropriate sized rectangular styrene stock.

Thanks Dr. Cranky, however at the moment I am at a standstill because I need to find materials for the frame and until then there's not much to do. On another note, what color would you suggest for a tan interior?

thanks

And tooltas i was actually planning on using the bumper because i really like the look of it, sorry.

Hobby Lobby doesn't sell it, your best bet is to order directly from Plastruct but they have a minimum order of $20.00. You can always use Ebay to purchase it or fine a Hobby store with a Website that sells the stuff as well.

Or I am sure anyone of us would be more than willing to purchase the stuff for you and send it your way for actual charges + shipping. :)

I assume you are working in 1/25th scale? If you have the actual dimensions of a real frame just divide that number by 25 to get your new dimensions.

Example 2" x 6" = 0.08" x 0.24" in 1/25th scale. Then just look for the styrene that is close to those dimensions and you will be good to go!

Yup, this model is 1/25, thanks for the advice! my dad has a 90's truck same body style so I can measure that when i get the time
