Agent G Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Cool, have fun building that. I'm looking forward to what you do with it. He's my favorite "bad guy". G
made007 Posted October 21, 2011 Author Posted October 21, 2011 Primered, krylon white primer i have to fill some gaps:
Hypermung Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 'Gaps' are a normal part of these kits. You'll probably find this is a re-cast from the original kit. They do this in Asia all the time & a little of the correct fitment of parts is lost in the re-casting process. When the cost of the re-casts is about 20% that of an original, I can put up with a little filling here & there.
made007 Posted October 23, 2011 Author Posted October 23, 2011 yes, i know its a recast, the seller told me, prior to buying, but the quality is perfect
Hypermung Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Some people hate the re-casts though, but @ 20% of the price I find them good value. I have a lot of resin 'Anime' figures that I'm slowly getting through. I don't think I'll be able to post them here though... Some of them are a bit, how you say, rude (still NICE eye candy though).
Agent G Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Looking good! You'd be filling seams recast or not, so for 20% less, who cares? Glenn, "rude" LOL! Those Anime' figs are quite detailed, re cast or not. I wish I had the space for some of those. One guyt in our club built a ton of those, and built them quite well I might add. One other member became highly incensed and called him a pervert. The club divided down the middle so I don't belong to that club anymore. Idiots G
made007 Posted October 25, 2011 Author Posted October 25, 2011 im doing a full 1:1 predator suit for me too
