My Mecum Auto Auction Muscle Cars & More - Mini Photo Shoot

Again, I started to play around with my camera and decided to make a display of an Auction House...

One of my favorite Auto Auctions that I love watching on HD Channel is Mecum Auto Auction. It's a bit less formal and I believe more realistic in auction pricing than Barrett-Jackson. Barrett-Jackson auction prices are way out of price to the true value of a car.

I feel that Barrett-Jackson is more for the Rich folks, while Mecum is more for the general public from wealthy people to the Blue Collar folks. PLUS, Mecum is more into the Muscle Cars and American Classics and it's allot more fun watching. It also gives me really good ideas on future model builds... That's the main reason I like Mecum More.

But that's my humble opinion. ^_^

Here's some of the pictures that I took of my models and made them look like if they were real cars in a Mecum auction:

Let me know what you think of the photos. :D

Hey Felix your photos look really convincing with your scenery. Really creative. I too enjoy watching the Mecum auctions as well. Much more for us down to earth, working people. Always spend Saturday nites watching after the wife falls asleep. Lol. She dosen't get it at all.

Thanks Ken. I designed the back using Corel Draw. To get it close to the Mecum Auction, I created it when I was watching the Mecum Auction. Then I printed them on 3 Card Stock paper and tapes them together. The little red carpet I bought at Michael's Craft Shop.
