John Teresi Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 (edited) Hello......this is Tom McCourry`s Riviera "Wagonmaster'.......it was a fast build because,I used my built Tommy Ivo "Showboat" as the donor......since the "Wagonmaster" evolved around the Ivo "Showboat".......the body is from "Speedcity Resins"......I modified the body and re-worked the luggage rack.......I opend up the hatch and added trim.......scratch built tin`s,rear window frame, and rear bumper.......H.O.K. white base coat......with custom mix of Tamiya lemon yellow and clear pearl......decals are from 'Whoopiekat Decals".......alclad firewall and luggage rack...... bare-metal foil........ and alot of "Pro Tech" goodies.......if you would like to see how this build came together.....please look in the "Workbench" section......P.S. a few folk`s have noted that I must have help building my models......because,I build so fast......well the truth must come out......I do have help.......the last picture is me with "Mini Me" and "Mini Moe".......thank`s for looking. John Teresi Posted October 31, 2011 Author Posted October 31, 2011 and a few more......thank`s for looking.
Dominik Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 I knew, that you have helping hands - minime and minimoe *lol*. Great idea. Thats the point, why you are so fast! I dont know, what to say about this "thing". It looks very crazy, absolute not my taste. But, you have done a very great job and there is a lot of work in it - thats, why i am locking at, and thats, why i followed your WIP. Thumps up!
Nitrozilla Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Gives new meaning to the term, "Evil Twin". How about "Evil Clones" ?? They are the puppet masters in the relationship, obviously. One is the idea man, the other, the action man. Their names ?? Ter and Esi, the Evil Clonesters !! Another build inspired and executed by a true visionary.
krazyglu Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Wow John you and your lil' minis sure pump out some awesome models . I bet there tiny hands do all the hard work and you just take credit. I really really like this one. I'm not huge into wild multi engined vehicles, but this might be the coolest thing I have ever seen.
LAone Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 looks great john...the trio strikes again!! i didn't think you had help, i thought you were a cyborg...
Mister Twister Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I don't know about those little fellas but I sure do like the model...LOL! Nice work John.
Alyn Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Wow, I blink and you've finished another one. Great looking Pork-U-Pine. I don't know what's more impressive, you building skills or your photographic skills. the shot over the nose and the view of the drivers compartment are way cool.
W-409 Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 This is amazing build, again! The donor, you used looks very good. I like that body too, paintjob is nice. Detailing on that engine.... Oh I mean, on those engines is great, and tires look very realistic. Great build, thanks for sharing.
