Phildaupho Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Does anyone know if the re-release of the '32 Ford 3-Window under the Monogram label actually contains the wide white-walls as shown in the art work on the Revell website? http://www.revell.co...rs/85-0887.html
Dave Darby Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Just an educated hunch here, but my guess is that it will include whitewall decals similar to what 5 window coupe has.
Chuck Most Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 What Dave says. As long as this kit has been reissued since the late '80's, it's always had the same big and little tires used in the '37 Ford kits and similar to the newer Revell Deuce kits. Would be cool if they threw in a set of tires with separate whitewalls, though.
horsepower Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 (edited) This kit is the 3 window Revell release, now under the Monogram banner, the give-a-way is the separate fenders, & the Ford 302 engine. And also, the early Monogram release is 1/24 scale, not 1/25th. Edited November 5, 2011 by horsepower
Chuck Most Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 (Slapping forehead) Forgot all about the Revell-tool 3 window, even though I have half a dozen of them in the stash and, yes, it clearly is the Revell kit in the pic. I stand by everything else I said regarding the tires, though.
PARTSMARTY Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 i have the kit and they are definitely wide whitewall-"DECALS" MARTY
Dr. Cranky Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 I hate wide white decals. Lately, I've broken out the circle template and some Vallejo white paint, and then YOU DECIDE how wide!
