my80malibu Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I wanted to ask if anyone has tried Citadel brand skull white primer as an alternative for Tamiya. I saw some at the War gaming store next to the,Video Gaming store, that was close to the Frozen yogurt store in my Nieghborhood. The War stuff is mostly resin and metal parts, and I was curious. if anyone has used this stuff on regular old plastic.
Eshaver Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Sorry, I can't help you as I'm not familiar with that brand . Generally, I buy the Valspar brand of white at Lowes hardware , and through Michiaels Art stores ........... Ed Shaver
Danny Lectro Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I have never used the Citadel white primer, but in my experience their other colors tend to not stick too well to plastic not made by Games Workshop.
Dr. Cranky Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 The one primer I use exclusively with great results all the time is Plastikote. It comes in white, black, grey, and ruddy brown.
