This is a replica of the '72 Modified driven by Terry Doss. This car was raced in Oklahoma City at State Fair Speedway. I'm using an Edmunds Super-Modifed kit for this build. I've added bracing on the back to match the original Jack Walker built car.

Filled in the hole in the top.

Lengthened frame to make it a to scale 100" chassis and added bar for radiator.

Made hole in hood for the carb/air filter. Car is going to have an in-line 6.

Gettin' er done! Almost finished:

Got the 6-banger installed/wired.

Painted the body with Krylon Fusion - Pumpkin color to match 1:1 car.

Waaaay too Cool!! I love this!

AWESOME job so far! I thought it was done at first when I saw the last picture, and then read your post, and realized you're still "comin' out of turn four" :lol: with her...

Can't wait 'til she "crosses the finish line" so we can see the rest of the bits and pieces you have yet to add!
