Sticks Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 I have the same one sitting on the shelf at home. Its one of the many projects I want to do. Looking good so far. Cheers
Scalper Posted September 2, 2014 Author Posted September 2, 2014 Hello... Pulling this one out of the box this week... Would like to get the body hood primmed and painted before winter comes. hope to be working on it this week.. cant wait to see it painted. Now if I can only escape my work .
kilrathy10 Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Awesome kit.....I built one of these a long time ago.....Got thrown away by an X girlfriend.....This is a great kit....Mine went together without any issues....I've gotta get another one of these.....Good luck....
Jim B Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 The only fit issue I've had with mine so far are the hood pins! I cannot get them to line up properly & I think the hood is hitting the top of the radiator.
Scalper Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 Cool... I will wash the body tonight..then prime might do a green fade paint job on it.
Jim B Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Beware the Dreaded Red Plastic! It bleeds through just about everything & turns it pinkish! It's absolutly horrible.
Scalper Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 hopefully Tamiya grey primer will do the trick. .. red not fun ,...
Old Buckaroo Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I have found Tamiya primer to work very well on odd molded colors. This looks like a nice kit , hope to see you get back on it after seeing the start date on it.
Scalper Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 Thanks Sean.. Yes its a Old WIP.. but not the oldest I have going. My first WIP on here is still going. 69 Camaro and a Peterbuilt 378 .. thanks for the motivation .

Roadrunner Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 The decals look awesome, and I had no clue that the Italeri kit of parts was ever produced; I may try to track down a kit.
Scalper Posted January 30, 2015 Author Posted January 30, 2015 Yeah the Italeri parts kits are pretty cool... one of them even comes with a side monted crane..

kilrathy10 Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Looks real nice, Man.....Can't go wrong with that green.....
Scalper Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 Thanks. I might do a fade paint on the hood.
Pavel A. Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 (edited) Andre, good work. But be carefull by front wheels (or front axle). The biggest problem by these W900 kits is that the front wheels are not in centre of fenders. Look carefull on the picture there is on the box, you can see it. This problem is on Kw w900 RoG. Monogram snap is o.k. Just glue front axle maybe 1or 2 milim. back on chassis. Paul. Edited February 5, 2015 by Pavel A.

The front of the hood doesn't line up with the bumper, either. Gives it a litte bit of an under-bite look.
Scalper Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 Thanks for the heads up Paul Might have to take the front axle appart now.
Scalper Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 I was just looking at the box and yeah the front wheels are if centre. Argh.
