Another build for the grandchildren 85 Corvette

Built this one for my youngest grandson. AMT'S 87 Corvette with C6 wheels. Sanded off the brake light that was on top of the rear hatch to make it look like an 85 (cause I have an 85 in my garage and he likes it.). The paint is Testors Lightning white (it looks like silver to me.) with Tamiya light blue metallic stripes. The checkered pattern is a decal with clear blue shot across it, Then it was cleared and polished. Enjoy.

Too cool and the stripe is a really unique touch. I really like it as I have an 86 coupe hiding in my garage. Great build.
